Rido is a shared space in nature. A little care and respect from each of us keeps the camp welcoming for everyone – guests, locals, climbers and animals.
Respect Nature
Rido helps us protect both the campsite and the climbing areas.
Quiet Hours
Please keep noise to a minimum during quiet hours and be mindful of other guests and nearby wildlife.
Shared Kitchen & Common Area
Our kitchen and common areas are shared by everyone. A little care from each guest keeps them comfortable and welcoming for all.
– Leave no trash behind.
– Please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground, even if you plan to pick them up later.
– Always dispose of cigarette butts properly to help prevent fires and protect nature.
– Respect plants, wildlife and the natural surroundings.
– Always dispose of your waste in the designated bins.
11 PM - 7 AM
PLEASE DO
+ Wash and put away your dishes after use.
+ Help keep shared spaces clean after yourself including the stove, countertop or other surfaces while cooking.
+ Use food containers instead of storing food in shared pots, pans or other kitchen equipment.
+ Avoid leaving uncovered food in the fridge.
+ Keep shared spaces tidy and return any furniture, games or other shared items after use.
+ Store personal belongings in the designated areas. Items left unattended in shared spaces may be moved to the Lost & Found during cleaning.

x Leave the kitchen or common areas dirty.
x Store food in cooking pots or shared containers.
x Leave uncovered food in the fridge.
x Use the common area as a sleeping area.
x Leave personal items around in shared spaces.
Our team members help maintain the camp, but they are not here to clean up after individual guests. Please help us keep our shared spaces clean and welcoming for everyone.
Shared Bathrooms
Please leave bathrooms and showers in the condition you would like to find them.
– Dispose of toilet paper, sanitary products, baby wipes and other hygiene items in the bins provided. Do not flush them down the toilet.
– Do not leave towels, dirty laundry, shampoo or toiletries inside the shower cabins.
– Take all personal belongings with you after use. Use the shelves outside the shower area for personal items.
Fire Pit & Safety
The fire pit is for everyone to enjoy.
– If you are the last person using it, please make sure the fire is completely extinguished before leaving.
– During windy or high fire-risk conditions, campfires may not be permitted. Please always follow staff instructions.
Camp Cats
Our camp cats are part of the Rido family! Some belong to our team, while others are local cats who have made the camp their home. All of them are regularly cared for and fed.
– Please do not feed the cats. This helps keep them healthy and prevents unwanted behaviour around the kitchen and dining areas.
– Our cats are friendly members of our camp community and should always be treated with kindness and respect.
– They often sleep in the common area. If you’re the last person leaving, please leave a small gap in the door so they can move freely during the night.
Before You Leave
Before heading off, please take a few minutes to help us.
– Empty your shelf in the refrigerator and take all your personal food with you.
– If you’d like to leave unopened or usable food, please label it FREE and let one of our team members know in the common area.
– Come say goodbye! We’d love to see you before you leave.
